Ho Mobile

I decided to open this thread since I discovered that this new Italian mvno created by Vodafone and under its umbrella, can be very interesting for people travelling abroad. In fact, their sim card not only has an Italian mobile phone number (it doesn't cost much to call an Italian mobile phone number if you use a Betamax clone) but in almost 95% of countries, incoming calls are very affordable, and very affordable too is data traffic per MB. Mind you, the convenience is for incoming calls and data, not for outgoing calls. In this case, I recommend a callback based setup like those you can have with Pbxes.
I used to have lots of international sim cards but now there's no such a need anymore.
Please, your opinion is welcome.

It is quite strange nobody seems interested in this excellent sim card that provides full access to all networks in Europe (EU roaming) and very low rates for data and incoming calls in 99% of the remaining countries worldwide.
Just as an example, Surfroam, which offers cheap pay as you go data rates worldwide, doesn't provide an incoming voice number. Since I have Ho Mobile I ditched the various Estonian sim cards. Hope this helps.

There is not much interest probably because the need for international SIM cards, especially for traveling in Europe, has diminished significantly.

You are right but this sim is great for incoming calls and data outside of EU too!

Your post might have gotten more interest if you had actually listed some data points.

I checked and I see that for the €10/month you get 50GB in Italy (great), 3GB of data for roaming within the EU (good but not exceptional). For countries outside the EU, e.g. USA, Canada, Australia, Panama, looks like data is €0.05/MB, which is good (but I think Three UK is better?). No listing for Mexico (no service in such a big country?).

Biggest problem would probably be getting a SIM card.

Mexico is covered and data rates are 5 cents/MB.

Is there an English version of the website?

I don't think so but you can use Google translate. If you are outside of Italy can be tough to get the sim, better if you look on the ebay.
