Great news from Austria, and since this tariff is too good to be true I am wondering if it has something to do with the recent closure of the UM +423 which used the Mobilkom LI / Mobilkom Austria networks.

Mobilkom Austria (A1) started with a new romaing tariff, even for prepaid cards that offer almost "International Roaming-SIM prices":

I think this is a absolutely fabulous tariff for prepaid cards, beeing on a vodafone partner network with direct calls (no callback).

This can be activated on each and any A1 B.Free (prepaid) SIM card by texting "EASY" to 6648. You will get an confirmation SMS back. More informations about the tariff in german on the website:

With that 90 cent connection fee for both outgoing and incoming calls, it sounds broadly similar to Vodafone Passport, though it's certainly an improvement if it applies while on any network in those countries
