Australian SIM for data
 

I'm off to Sydney soon and I've discovered that a lot of the apartments down there don't have internet service. Is there a prepaid SIM provider with good data service? Malkav has said that Virgin is good for voice, but they don't mention data:

Yes, there is no data information there but there are links to carrier websites. Does anyone use prepaid data in Australia?

Here in Sydney I'm getting the "2-year contract" response from every phone shop I stop in, so I could really use any info on prepaid or similar SIM data access.
