Egypt SIM

Hi guys,

I'm taking off for Egypt for a couple of weeks with a group of friends and we need Egyptian sim cards to use there (roaming is too expensive).

Do all three carriers have good coverage, I know they all promote tourist sims at a good price.

Anyone have any experience of Egypt?

Thanks

Coverage is very good in the Cairo area with all 3 carriers I have used while roaming in there.

Thanks for your help!

I would not worry about coverage Because Egypt is generally flat. It depends where you will be moving. If you are mostly in the tourist areas coverage is fine. I know that some vodafone prepaids offer Greece calling at around 0,5 euro/min.

our boss always buys a Vodafone SIM when he is there. The coverage was always good - also 3G is available more and more often.

Is there an affordable data tariff?

Good morning everybody, I was looking at the Vodafone website and I do not understand why the Vodafone Holiday is more expensive than the Vodafone per second.
Who can explain it to me? Thanks :)

Holiday
Vodafone per second

Holiday
Vodafone per second

It looks like Vodafone has a bewildering array of prepaid offers with all sorts of high-rate, low-rate times and days. The Holiday appears to be a simple-rate prepaid intended for tourists. At first blush it appears to have no advantages over the per-second plan.
