blau.es expiry date

Hi,

just got me a spanish blau.es SIM which is working smoothly also with small data volume (Netbook-stick).

I could not find any details about the validity period. Is there also a code to send for info?

It works out at 120 days since the last topup. However if you maintain a positive balance the card stays valid.

Have a look at:
blau - Preguntas frecuentes

The problem is that the 2 euro/month minimum consumption can bring a positive balance to zero if the SIM is not being used. After the card hits zero, you can only receive incoming calls for 30 days, after which you only have 90 days more in which to topup or the card becomes completely disactivated.

Remember that this month, if you put 30 euros on, you will also get a bonus 15 euros added on next month!

Thanks a lot Petkow for your help.
I now checked, had translated the FAQ (PROMT - Free Online Translator and dictionary - English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazilian) and Russian languages.) and enjoyed.

The minimum consumption I'll spend for SMS in other EU countries....

I got the SIM in a Media markt in Pamplona for 10€ including 10€ balance and including a free unlocked mobile ALCATEL OT-103 which properly works with my german VF CallYa SIM.
:)

Do you know if there is a way to recharge with german i.e. E-Plus or BLAU vouchers too?

My swiss sunrise SIM for instance accepts german o2 vouchers.

Glad I could help. That is an amazing deal! It may only be a basic handset, but that really is amazing! Even a replacement mains charger will probably cost that in some places!

I am not too sure about this at all. Perhaps someone else here may be able to help out. As they are part of KPN, I would think that there must be some agreements amongst their various partners and brands such as Base and E-Plus.

Interesting. That could be a reciprocal arrangement from the Starmap Alliance.

But I thought it was defunct, and I failed when trying to top up Wind with O2 UK

To say it more precisely:
It worked in the past, 1-2 years ago. They sent SMS with that hint.
In 2009 I have no experience.

I bought an Alcatel in Valencia with a Blau ES Sim for 12 EUR (so the price depends on the Media Markt you are in). It is "open", too.
Has anyone an idea, how to get access to the mi blau pages? During the registration, they did not ask me - so I have no clue.
The top up agreement between Orange ES, Sunrise, o2-de has been stopped and does not work anymore.

On the box of my 10€-blau-Alcatel there is a big sticker with a picture of the blau.es SIM, the Alcatel and an orange spot "POR SOLO 10€ IVA incl., doesn't look Media Markt made....

Access to mi blau you'll get when entering your blau number with 34 in the front added, no 00 or + added! (=usuario) and as clave (password) you enter your PUK. This info they usually send to your email address. The password can be changed after Login.

My Login failed several times yesterday, later it worked.
