International calls with T-Mobile DE?

Hello to everyone,

I've looked for the costs of international calls with T-mobile Germany but I couldn't find them on their website..I mean, calls from Germany to other countries not roaming calls. In particular calls to Italy..does anyone know something about the matter?..

It is very well hidden indeed.
On prepaid cards you pay 1.99 Euro/min to all destinations, on contracts mostly 79ct to Europe and 1,49 Euro to the rest of the world.

If you want to call cheaper i recommend to get a card from Blauworld, mobi, Solomo or other discounters with cheap international calls.

thanks..I need something cheaper, definitely.but I also definitely need some cheap data tariffs (let's say a sort of flat) and I've found something good with the Xtra data options of T-mobile..maybe I'll get two cards, one for calls and one for data traffic.

The discounter cards i mentioned have 9ct to EU landlines and 29ct to EU mobiles. Best might be solomo as they dont charge a connection fee to the calls. Solomo charges 24ct/MB for GPRS.

But apparently, and my German is not all that good, I went to solomo's web site to try to purchase a sim card and muddled by way through to the point where i entered my name and mailing address as well as cc number and under land (which I assume means country) there was a pull down menu which only had a few countries listed (Belgium, France, Czech Republic, Poland, Switzerland, Denmark all countries that adjoin Germany but no England, no USA, no Canada, no Australia....they have very good rates and it would be a good sim card to get.

Most providers here ship only inside germany. But you can contact the customer care by email - they usually respond very quickly. Be aware to buy the "Pro" card, not the 08/5 card. The 08/5 has cheap rates inside germany but the international calls and roaming is more expensive.

Thanks Chris...my other reluctance with them is that I am sure (not that they are under any obligation to do so) that voice mail prompts and other prompts will be in German a language alas I am totally unable to function in.

I guess so. But i never used anything on the solomo card that required a voice-prompt. You know that people here hate voice mail so its usually the first thing people deactivate when getting new SIM cards :)

Where can one find Solomo cards in Germany (preferably Munich)? I'm coming from the U.S. and I haven't been in Germany before (I have been elsewhere in the EU).

I would like to be able to buy one in a shop and get the whole thing taken care of in person (i.e. without having to log into a website to get the sim working).
