T-Mobile (US) Open Europe data plan
Some chatter on Howard-Forums about T-Mobile's new Open Europe data roaming plan. Article on Tmonews about this plan.
Essentially, T-Mobile postpaid customers can bolt-on a $50/mo option that allows unlimited data roaming in 28 countries. The first 500 MB/mo is full speed and after that you get throttled down but there seems to be no hard limit or overage charges. |
good news
did anyone tried this out yet ? |
TMobile's new plan kind of displaces it. You automatically get unlimited throttled data. You can top them off with high speed passes as follows:
100MB for a day for $15 200MB for a week for $25 500MB for two weeks for $50 I am not sure if you can buy multiple passes in the same month. I suppose if you were going to Europe for a month at a time, it might be a better deal to go with Open Europe, but the ability to bolt these on as needed make more sense. Here is a Howard's forum on the subject: http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...en-Europe-Plan |
