Dear Forum,

I would like to use Riiing for business calls when travelling in Europe and would like to make cheaper outbound calls using a call-back system.

Its seems that Enlinea and Callbackworld work but do not offer the call quality required for business conversations.

Can anybody recommend a callback system for Riiing that offers voice quality comparable to normal mobile phones ?

Many thanks

Huib

Hi Huib,

CBW does support good call quality in Europe most times.

If call quality is poor, as it is sometimes later in the day, then you can always ring back using the standard Riiing service.

Or use a landline and calling card.

Hope this info helps... Steve :)

sorry mate, but you cant always have the best of both world. CBW offers reasonable quality but its not spectacular, riing call-back is pretty good...

But if quality is the key then i suggest you get a vodafone contract and roam
with that

You may be able to use an INTERNATIONAL calling card with LOCAL SIMs, but not with Riiing.

You may find LOCAL (non-toll free) numbers you can use to dial out. I am not sure that is any advantage other than lower rates. I have seen German cards with local #s.

One solution might be to use your REGULAR UK mobile as a voicemail. You can then listen to your VM from whatever county using a landline and return calls from the hotel on another landline. OR, if available, it is not unheard of that hotels have voicemail for their guests.

I am not sure how happy your clients will be to pay the sometimes exhorbitant rates to 423-663 or some other international cell #s. They probably won't mind calling your REGULAR UK phone.

Stan
