Price comparison for SIM cards

Hi,

I put online a beta version for comparing prices of SIM cards.

There are for the moment only 4 operators.

Your remarks / feedback / suggestions are welcome.

Interesting! Another very useful bit of screen scraping, just like your Betamax comparison table. Well done!! In time, when you add in other roaming SIM's this will become even more useful.

I just have 2 general comments. Is there any reason why the SMS rates for travelsim.com keep coming up as free? Are they really free? Also, it might be useful to add in the Data rate per kilobyte in the origin country, just like you show the have incoming call cost.

It would of course also be great if you can throw in some national SIM's though this is obviously a HUGE task to do! ;)

Good idea.

for EU countries as reference you could add the maximum prices set by the EU if you are using a Eu based provider (rgular, dutch, german, spanisch, italian etc)

No, there was an error on my program. I can't "read" the rate for outgoing SMS because the site is with flash technology and SMS rates are not in text/pdf or html in travelsim.com.

How much is the maximum price set by EU ? Is it the same for all calls inside the EU ?

The maximum set by the EU only applies to ROAMING, not for calling from your home country (within EU) to another EU country. So operators can decide to charge more for these calls if they like to.
