MTX Connect
 

Has anyone tried MTX Connect? I have not seen any discussion of this data roaming SIM here. It's a data SIM aimed at the European roaming market.

Travelling to Spain, France, Netherlands last autumn I bought a MTXC card. It was easy to order – just filled the form at their website and got it by post in 6 days, then activated it and that's all. It was quite cheap 0.10 euro per 1 MB (I used this option, but they have 2 more), pretty cool.
About the coverade: I visited main cities: Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Amsterdam and there were no problems to get an internet. Next time I'm going to Lisbon in May, so check it out there too.
But the thing is I don't use too much data while travelling and try to find free wi-fi spots, so my opinion can be not very useful for those who use it a lot.

What speeds were you getting on that?

I used it in Spain. In areas where coverage is poor, it goes in gprs (not even edge) because not all carriers support edge. I noticed it went on Vodafone or Yoigo. This latter one is the worst.
