Default How to trigger dialnow.com from mobile? - 27-05-2009, 12:40

Hi,

is there a possibility to trigger dialnow.com callback from the mobile phone directly without necessity of an external internet access ("phone to phone").

My terminal (Nokia 5000) can open the dialnow website but triggering does not work.

Download Betamax' Java midlet, through which you can trigger call backs and send SMS. Just open http://gsm.voipbuster.com from your handset. It works for all Betamax brands, allthough hosted on voipbuster's server.

Do you know if it works also with siptraffic and voicetrading accounts? They still should be betamax?

I have only tested it with poivy, justvoip and voipwise. But it should work. Maybe just try it!

According to the displayed information (on poivy's website and by the Java midlet on the mobile phone) a connection fee of € 0,05 per call applies, but I just checked the itemized call statement and they did not charge it at least last week.

Very strange billing - I just made a 2+ minute call from the US to the Netherlands, and it charged me a grand total of 1 cent (on Poivy.) So, apparently they are still charging a 1 cent connection charge, even though it is not documented anywhere.
