Default Callback world - Minimum usage surcharge?? - 13-01-2007, 16:41

Does anyone know what it is? I just noticed a $1.99 charge on my Credit card for last month. It's called minimum usage surcharge. I will email their customer support shortly. I just wanted to see if anyone else knows something.

Default Not showing up on my account YET - 13-01-2007, 16:51

A charge of 1.99 is not showing up on my account yet. I owe them $.79 and they have not billed that yet. If they started charging such a monthly fee, I will cancel my account. Don't use it that much at the moment.

I owed them $0.31. My CC was charged $2.30, so I decided to verify and that's when I saw the $1.99 charge on 12/31/06 labeled "minimum usage surcharge". I have emailed their customer support for an explanation.

Yes. It was a mistake. Response from Barry...

------------------------------------------------------------

It was a mistake and all customers are having the charge reversed.
Someone informed me of it a few days ago and the office is taking
care of it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

While this is such a minute amount, that a "one time" mistake is not a big deal, I am wondering if anyone that had this charge ever got it reversed. I never had mine reversed.

Well, I tried to login, just to make sure this charge does not show up this month, with the correct information but I could not. I have already contacted their customer service.

What they did is that they credited the ammount to your monthly allowance for you to spend. That means that this ammount is there to be used without you beig charged again...
