Default Need T-Mobile UK top-up - 04-11-2008, 15:36

I need a T-Mobile UK top-up. 5 quid will do, 10 is okay too if that's the minimum.

Will pay you an extra quid for your trouble. I can pay by Paypal.

Alternatively, if you need Canadian or US top-up or a SIM, I can probably help you. (I'm in Canada all the time, and will be in New York City next month.)

Thanks!

Jim

Bump. I still need one. Will pay 12 pounds for a 10-pound top-up.

Did you try ebay UK. That's where I usually get mine. Paid 17 pounds for a 20 pound card a couple of weeks ago.

I'll have a look again, but the few times I have looked lately I've come up empty.

In the ebay UK search results/link I posted above there are a few buy-it-now for about 17 pounds for the 20 pound voucher. Did not see any for the 10 pound one though.

I found a 10-pound one but it doesn't have a buy-it-now price. I bid 10 quid for it (I don't mind paying full fare ) so we'll see what happens.

Sorry, I missed the thread for its first couple of weeks. If that eBay bid doesn't win, let me know and I'll get one at the supermarket

By the way, there's a free £5 credit from T-mobile if you register the SIM via their website, then also potentially useful other stuff like call details viewable, webtexts, etc. But do it only just before your next visit, as the £5 lasts only 30 days

My SIM was activated and registered online a year ago in September, alas.

Thanks for the offer, Andy. If my auction bid falls through I'll send you a PM.

I'm a newbie with PhotoJim's predicament.

I wonder how easy or hard it is to pick up a UK T-Mobile sim card passing through Heathrow airport. I'll be in terminal 5, and I won't have the time to go out of security.

In NA drugstores sell top up cards, so I wonder whether the Boots in terminal 5 might have them. Too good to be true, I suppose.

I did a lot of checking around a few years ago and found that T-Mobile had the best deal for prepaid use all over Europe, but topping up the account is difficult, since they don't accept foreign credit cards for some reason.
