Help Setting Up an LG Cookie KP 500 for O2.cz Data Package

I've just gotten an O2.cz sim card to use when in Prague. I plan to add a data package when I get there.

I know how to go about signing up. I get "lost" in the Istallation and Service Activation section. I've got instructions right in front of me and I am clueless! Here's what is says:

Installation and service activation
Simply select one of the following menu items: Internet, WAP, Services, or O2 Active. These open a web browser in which you enter the url m.o2mobil.cz.

if you use a Nokia phone, press and hold the “0” key
install internet access directly into the menu of your phone – send an SMS with the keyword IVMDOMENU to the phone number 999 888
You can enjoy internet on your mobile best on a phone with a large (ideally touch screen) display, a 3G network connection and a full-featured HTML browser.

Any help getting my phone set up would be appreciated. If all else fails, I can always wait until I get get to an O2 store in Prague....

The quoted instructions proceed on the assumption your phone is already configured.

According to this page (http://www.cz.o2.com/soho/en/internet/39990-DatovePrenosy_Nastaveni.html) you just need to create a new data profile in your phone with "internet" as APN:


Here you are:

1.Set Access Point
Settings-> Connectivity-> Access points-> Add Access point
Connection title: (name it something, e.g. "O2 CZ")
Bearer: GPRS
Authentication: PAP
Username: [leave empty]
Password: [leave empty]
APN: internet
[Save]

2.Internet profiles
Settings-> Connectivity-> Internet profiles-> Add Profile
Title: (name it something different than above)
Use proxy: OFF
Access point: Select access point previously created ("O2 CZ")
[Save]
