Uruguay - Mobile Internet possible?

Hello,

I will go for a longer trip to Uruguay and looking for a prepaid solution there.

I know there are 3 operators within UY. Is here, in the forum, anybody who´s from UY and can give first hand informations about the prepaid situation?

Antel looks like it to have the best coverage. Are there any mobile internet solutions? If yes, what is the average speed on their HSDPA net?

Movistar (Telefonica), only has in Montevideo and Punta del Este a HSDPA coverage. How is the coverage within the rest of UY?

Claro does not show any info on their website about prepaid offers.

So if their is anybody here who can give solid info, please post your comments.

First hand and solid ...

Due to my lack of (Rio de la plata)-spanish I´m not able to figure out what the Claro website info is all about.

It looks like that Claro offers a (contract)possibility of mobile internet with 2mbps which is usable in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay without roaming charges.

If there is anybody with experiences with Claro or one of the other competitors in UY, PLEASE POST.

I used Claro in Uruguay (Colonia and Montevideo) without a problem, where United Mobile wouldn't work. Service is decent with them also.
