TIM BASE NEW
This is the starting tariff by TIM, which is very expensive and totally nonsense. There's really no reason to keep this plan.
TIM Premia
For every refill of € 20.00 or more you get a € 10.00 bonus to be spend within 30 days. The bonus credit can be used for any call/message to any national operator.
TIM Tribù
With this tariff you can activate several options to get cheaper calls, SMS, MMS, etc... It's really too long and complicated to list all the options here and it's mainly dedicated to Italian teenagers so probably it's not so interesting for travelers to Italy.

TIM in 2
This is a special option to call (voice and video) and send messages (SMS, MMS) to 1 selected TIM number for free.
It has a cost of € 3.00 at the activation and 7 days validity. After the first 7 days it is automatically prolonged each
week at the cost of € 2.00/week. There's a maximum usage of 2500 minutes and 2500 messages per week.
Maxxi Day Parole 10 giorni
With this option you pay € 5.00 and you get 500 free minutes (with € 0.19 set-up fee for each call) to TIM numbers for 10 days.

Maxxi Ricarica 10
With a € 10 refill card you can get:
- € 5.00 of credit for any kind of use (calls, messaging, data...);
- € 35.00 of credit to spend for calls to landline within 30 days.
Maxxi Ricarica 30
With a € 30 refill card you can get:
- € 20.00 of credit for any kind of use (calls, messaging, data...);
- € 30.00 of credit to spend for calls to TIM numbers within 30 days;
- € 80.00 of credit to spend for calls to landline within 30 days.
IMPORTANT: with the Maxxi Ricarica 10 and 30 the tariff to call TIM and landline numbers is the following:
- € 0.21/min with € 0.16 set-up fee and 30/30 billing.

If you recharge with 10 euro you can have:
- 4€ of normal credit

With this option you pay 58.8c€/min for all outgoing calls in the EU, while incoming calls are free of charge. You pay € 10.00 for 30 days to use this option starting from the first call sent/received outside of Italy. The free incoming calls can me at max 100 minutes per the duration of the offer (30 days), after which the standard rates apply.

GSM on the Ship
With a TIM prepaid card you can roam on the "GSM on the ship" net (made by TIM) on Costa Crociere cruise ships. The service is activated while the ship is in high seas, while it is deactivated at every port. The prices are € 2.00/min for both incoming and outgoing calls. There is a set-up fee of € 0.50 for every call. SMS are charged at the usual Italian rate.
