Listing all TIM prepaid tariffs and options is nearly impossible, they are hard to understand for Italians too! Here we list only the
'normal' tariffs with no extra-fees or special tariffs for calls to group of other TIM users (very popular with this operator lately).
If you are brave enough and understand Italian better than an Italian you can find everything on TIM official site!

TIM BASE
This is the starting tariff by TIM, which is very expensive and totally nonsense, except for the TIM number you can call at 9cent/min, but TIM Club has 3 and cheaper national calls. There's really no reason to keep this plan.
TIM CLUB
You can choose up to 3 TIM numbers or 2 TIM and 1 Landline to call at the special rate of 9 cent/min. This tariff has an activation cost of € 7.00.
Unica New Options
TIM Planet: calls to all TIM numbers at € 0.09/min, plus the set-up fee of € 0.16.
AutoRicarica 5: you get € 1.00 bonus every 20 minutes of incoming calls; max 10 euro per month
Premium: if you spend at least € 20 per month you get an € 20 bonus to use for calling other TIM numbers
TIM Famiglia
With this tariff you can choose up to 3 numbers (2 TIM and 1 Landline) to call at the special fee of 0.09€/min, plus the usual setup-fee.

Special Options for voice calls
There is 1 special option for frequent calls to 1 TIM number; it is called Duetto and has an activation fee of € 5.16; the price per minute is € 0.0558 plus the set-up fee of € 0.1549. Duetto is available only in combination with Long TIM (and Happy TIMe, Autoricarica 190 which are not available anymore).

With a € 30 refill card you can get the normal 25€ of credit or the Maxxi Ricarica, i.e.:
- € 15.00 of credit for any kind of use (calls, messaging, data...)
- € 20.00 of credit to spend for calls to TIM numbers within 30 days (using Unica New rates)
- € 85.00 of credit to spend for calls to landline within 30 days

Maxxi Ricarica Messaggi
If you recharge with 10 euro you can have:
- 4€ of normal credit
- 20€ of SMS credit to be spent within 14 days sending messages to TIM numbers only
- 16€ of MMS credit to be spent within 14 days sending messages to TIM numbers only
Maxxi Ricarica Parole Weekend
If you recharge with 10 euro you can have:
- 4€ of normal credit
- 36€ to be spent within 30 days calling TIM numbers only at weekends
All Maxxi Ricarica offers are available till 30/09/2007.
Special Options for data
There are 2 special options for data calls through GPRS/EDGE/UMTS connection, here they are:
- Maxxi TIM Web Time: 9GB/month of data (apn ibox.tim.it) from 5pm to
9am and 24h on weekends for € 25.00/month
- Maxxi TIM Web Facile: 500 MB/month of data (apn ibox.tim.it) for €
20.00/month.
All options are available till 2 October 2007 (if not prolonged), calling the toll free number 119 from your TIM number.
TIM Senza Confini Europa
With this option (free till 30th September 2007) you pay 58.8c€/min for all outgoing calls in the EU, while incoming calls are free of charge. From 30/09/2007 to 01/12/2007 you'll pay € 10.00 for 30 days to use this option, while afterwards it will be € 10.00 per 15 days of use, starting from the first call sent/received outside of Italy. The free incoming calls can me at max 100 minutes per the duration of the offer (30 or 15 days), after which the standard rates apply.

GSM on the Ship
With a TIM prepaid card you can roam on the "GSM on the ship" net (made by TIM) on Costa Crociere cruise ships. The service is activated while the ship is in high seas, while it is deactivated at every port. The prices are € 2.00/min for both incoming and outgoing calls. There is a set-up fee of € 0.50 for every call. SMS are charged at the usual Italian rate.
