Super 10
Every time you refill you get a special 'autorecharge' option for the following month. Autorecharge works as follows:
- € 0.10: for every full minute of calls (voice+video) received by non-3 Italian numbers;
- € 0.10: for every MMS received by non-3 Italian numbers;
- € 0.05: for every SMS received by non-3 Italian numbers.
There's a minimum autorechrge of € 5.00 (i.e. if you receive less you get nothing) and a maximum autorecharge of € 333.00 per month.
The autorecharge will be credited the following month and cannot be used to pay options, change of tariff-plan, etc, but only for calls, messaging, data...
Super7
The basic rate is the usual 15 cent/min (60/60 billing) with a setup fee of 16 cent, but every time you refill, on the following month
you get the special tariff of 15 cent/min without setup fee with 1/1 billing and National SMS at € 0.07/message. But that's not
all: you also get an 'autorecharge' bonus for each incoming calls and SMS/MMS by non-3 numbers:
- € 0.05/min: for voice and video calls, € 0.05/message for MMS;
- € 0.02/message for SMS;
the autorecharge bonus is calculated in full minutes, erogated the following month with a minimum bonus of € 5.00 and a maximum of
€ 5,000.00. If not used before, the bonus will be lost on December 31st, 2011.
Super 0 Mondo
Every time you refill you get the special tariff to 3 and landline numbers for the following month. When you have the special tariff actived
you just pay the set-up fee and nothing else to a maximum of 1000 minutes/month for voice calls and other 1000 minutes/months for
video calls (to 3 only). The cost of calls to other operators is still of € 0.15/min but with per second instead of per minute billing.
Since February 2008 it has changed to the "Mondo" tariff, so whenever you get the special tariff, you can also choose 1 foreign country
to call at a special price, as follows:
- China: € 0.01/min (plus set-up fee)
- Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Russia, Sri Lanka, Ukraine: € 0.09/min (plus set-up fee)
- Albania, Brasil, Croatia, Ecuador, Egypt, Macedonia (FYROM), Moldova, Montenegro, Morocco, Peru, Romania, Senegal, Serbia, Tunisia: € 0.15/min (plus set-up fee).
So, to make a summary, all three tariffs have a basic rate of € 0.15/min with 60/60 billing and € 0.16 set-up fee for all calls.
If you refill you get the special (Super) tariffs which are:
- Super 10: autorecharge for incoming calls
- Super 7: 15 cent/min rate to all numbers (1/1 billing), 7 cent/SMS and autorecharge;
- Super 0: 0 cent/min to 3 and landline (plus setup fee).

3 Skypephone
A new offer by 3, independent on the tariff plan you choose, is the '3 Skypephone', a special UMTS mobile phone which includes Skype functionalities (but no Skype-Out by now). The Skypephone costs € 99.00 including a prepaid card by 3 with € 3.00 of credit; the phone is locked to the sim-card. If you want a free phone, it costs € 199.00; you can choose any plan you prefer and every time you refill your credit (with any amount) you get 10 hours/day and 600 IM/day from the Skypephone to any other Skype user (on PC, mobile phones, etc...). No SkypeOut calls are allowed. No extra data is payed, the calls are really free of charge (no set-up fee either). The Skypephone calls a special number which forwards the call through VoIP to the other Skype user, so the quality is of a forwarded VoIP call, not the best, but not too bad too.
Special Option for video calls
There is 1 special option for frequent video calls to 1 "3 ITA" number; it is called VideoNoi
and it's free when you activate a new u-sim. The price per minute is € 0.05 plus the set-up fee of € 0.15. The validity of the
option is 6 months, after that it's automatically reactivated at € 6.00 for other 6 months.
Video Noi can be activated on Super 10 plan only.
Special Option for data
You can activate the Naviga3 option to get 50MB of 3G data every day for a monthly fee of € 9.00. The offer is not valid while roaming on TIM network or abroad (except '3 Like Home' networks, where it works like in Italy).

It's an option to call some international countries with a monthly forfait of € 15.00 including 50 hours of calls (no set-up fee).
You can call mobile and landline numbers of: Canada, China (excl. Taiwan and incl. Hong Kong), Singapore, USA;
You can call landline numbers of: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Ireland, Malaysia, Norway,
New Zealand, Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, UK.
The option will be renovated automatically every month unless deactivated. There's the possibility to prepay for 90 days at € 40.00.

Eurotaiff
The Eurotariff (EU zone) will start automatically for all 3 ITA customers from August 30th 2007 and includes the following countries:
Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Rep., Denmark, Estonia, France (including Guadalupe, Guyana, Martinica, La Reunion), Finland,
Germany, Gibraltar (*), Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia (*), Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxemburg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Poland,
Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, UK.
(*): 3 has no roaming agreements in these countries, but EU tariff applies to call them from other EU countries.
All'estero come a casa (3 like home)
Also 3 Italy follows its "sisters" with the offer 'All'estero come a casa' with which you are supposed to roam
on other 3 networks outside of Italy paying the same tariffs like at home. That's only partially true since
there is a set-up fee of € 0.088 for all sent/received calls and € 0.50 for videocalls. The per minute fee is
the same as in Italy, with free incoming calls, after a set-up fee of € 0.288, as well as the cost of messaging and data.
So it happens that abroad you spend less than while in Italy since the set-up fee is lower!
The offer is automatically available to all 3 ITA customers roaming on 3 Networks in Australia, Austria, Denmark, Hong Kong,
Ireland, Sweden and UK.
National Roaming
3 ITA has a national roaming agreement with TIM. All 3 ITA customers can roam on TIM GSM network everywhere in Italy, making voice calls and using all messaging services thanks to GPRS roaming for data. The price for voice calls and messaging are the same as on 3 ITA W-CDMA net, while data calls must add € 0.01/KB fee while roaming on TIM net. Video calls are not available in national roaming.
UMTS phones
In order to use 3's W-CDMA network you need an UMTS W-CDMA/GSM dual-mode phone. 3 ITA u-simcards will not
work on GSM phones due to a software limitation made by 3 to avoid excessive roaming costs. Many phones bought
with 3 ITA are locked to their network, and some of them are also locked to the sim-card sold with the phone.
From May 2006 it is possible to buy a GSM/GPRS u-sim compatible card. You have to ask the dealer for this
special card which can be used on any compatible GSM handset, always roaming on TIM network. In this case
you use 3 as a MVNO on TIM.
